“The interplay between NYC way of life and surfing” is the inspiration for Saturdays Magazine, the annual publication of the New York City surf shop Saturdays. To our eyes, it appears far more skewed towards “lifestyle” than “surfing,” but we’re not complaining. Made by Manhattan’s Javas Lehn Studio, Saturday Magazine’s über sophisticated minimalism, dramatic sort remedy, and tightly edited color scheme sit nicely with us. And those art-laced pull-out quotes roped us in quickly.
