I've had a lampshade that's been ruined for quite a while now. I have been planning on covering it with fabric (and still do) but the other day it was driving me so crazy finally decided to do a quick fix and paint a big bold stripe on it. Here it is with all the yucky scratch marks.
The first thing I did was spray paint the whole shade in an ivory color. Then I taped it off:
Then I used some leftover paint and painted in the middle (I think it was Revere Pewter).
And there you have it! New life to an old beat-up lampshade!
